REFERRALS

NVBHS accepts referrals from

  • Department of Social Services
  • Department of Juvenile Services
  • Parents or Guardians
  • Self-referral
  • Other Health Care Facilities
  • Baltimore City Court System

INSURANCE

NVBHS accepts the following types of payment

  • Medicaid
  • Self Pay
  • Medicare Part B

We will not discriminate against any person receiving health services because of their inability to pay for services or based on race, gender, color, nationality, disability, religion, or sexual orientation.

A client admitted to NVBHS must be between the ages of 6 and 65 years old. NVBHS admits children, adolescents and adults with problems, which causes conflict within the family, school, and community.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

Step 1. Intake (completion of Psycho-social Assessment)

Step 2. Therapeutic Interaction (one on one sessions with the therapist)

Step 3. Psychiatric Evaluation (initial session with the Psychiatrist/Nurse Practitioner)
